These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Kompetr. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least the minimum age required by law to use Kompetr. Players must have an account to participate in leagues and games. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and use the service responsibly and legally. You are responsible for your interactions with other users.
Kompetr provides tools to organize leagues, schedules, attendance, and stats. We do not guarantee attendance, fair team balancing, or game outcomes.
League admins are responsible for managing league settings, memberships, schedules, and payments. Admin permissions are granted by league ownership and can affect other users.
Paid features may require a subscription or other fees. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Paddle or another payment provider shown at checkout. You must provide accurate billing information and comply with the applicable payment provider's terms, checkout rules, fraud-prevention checks, and customer portal procedures. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable and do not automatically prorate. Admins are responsible for ensuring any league-level payments are handled correctly.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel from the account, premium, or billing settings where available, through the payment processor portal if provided, or by contacting privacy@kompetr.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; it does not automatically refund charges already made unless required by law or stated in these terms.
Subscription prices are shown before checkout in the currency displayed for the plan or payment screen. Unless checkout states that tax is included, prices may exclude VAT, sales tax, or similar taxes. Applicable taxes are calculated using information such as your billing address, location, tax status, and the rules of the relevant country or region, and are shown at checkout or on the invoice where required.
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases unless an exception applies. For digital services or digital content, you may lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins during the withdrawal period if you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that this may end your withdrawal right, or once the service has been fully performed where the law allows. These rights do not affect any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Unless required by law, subscription fees and other paid charges are non-refundable and are not automatically prorated when you cancel, downgrade, stop using the service, or remove a league. You can request a refund by contacting privacy@kompetr.com with your account email, payment date, amount, invoice or payment reference, and reason for the request. We review refund requests case by case and aim to respond within 30 days.
Some leagues may use monthly recurring contributions and others may charge per game. Monthly payment amounts and schedules are set by league admins.
Premium tiers may unlock additional leagues, advanced stats, or admin tools. Features and limits may change over time.
Free tier usage may include advertising, including ads delivered or measured through Google AdSense or related advertising services. Premium or paid users should not see in-app ads where the paid plan is advertised as ad-free, but technical errors or transitional states may occasionally occur. Ad formats and availability may change.
You retain ownership of the content and data you submit, including chat messages, profile photos, league names, team names, player names, images, stats, and notes. You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful, respectful, accurate where needed, and that you have the rights to upload or share it. You grant Kompetr permission to host, process, moderate, remove, and display this content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe is inappropriate, abusive, unlawful, misleading, spam, privacy-invasive, or infringing another person's rights.
Kompetr and its logos, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
You may not misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with operations, submit false or misleading information, harass or abuse others, upload unlawful or infringing content, spam users, bypass payment or access controls, scrape the service, or use Kompetr for unlawful activities. It is forbidden to post abusive, hateful, illegal, spam, privacy-invasive, or copyright-infringing content in chat, league names, team names, profile photos, or uploaded images.
We aim to keep the service available, but interruptions, maintenance, outages, delays, bugs, data synchronization issues, or data loss may occur. We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time where reasonably necessary for operations, security, legal compliance, or product changes.
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion from account settings or by contacting privacy@kompetr.com. Account deletion removes account access and personal identifiers from active systems; historical league/game records may remain in anonymized form to preserve competition integrity and aggregate statistics. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, leagues, or content if we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these terms, unlawful activity, abuse, security risk, payment misuse, repeated complaints, or conduct that may harm users, leagues, or Kompetr. We may also remove inactive, fraudulent, or duplicate accounts where appropriate. We are not responsible for disputes between players or league participants.
To the extent permitted by law, Kompetr and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of goodwill, service interruptions, loss or corruption of data, or disputes between users arising from or related to your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the local jurisdiction applicable to you and the service, without regard to conflict of law rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice if changes are material.
You can submit complaints, legal notices, or support requests by emailing privacy@kompetr.com. Please include your account email, a clear description of the issue, relevant league or game details, screenshots or links where helpful, and what outcome you request. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 7 days and provide a response or next-step update within 30 days, unless the issue is complex or legally sensitive.
